Royal Championship is one of the events in Candy Crush Jelly Saga. It is only available on the mobile version.
Introduction
Play against other players and win tasty rewards!
In this event, you will play head-to-head against other real-life Jelly player. 30 lucky players will be joined in.
You will be guided by Red Rabbit (a new character in this game) about how to play in this event. First, before stating to play a match, you will choose 2 of 4 power-ups available to get the upper hand on your opponent, and they will be activated by fulfill with red and cyan candy. There are:
- Lollipop Hammer (Booster): Removes 1 candy or 1 layer from a blocker. Special Candies are activated if struck.
- Wrapped Lollipop (Booster): Use it to explode any candy or blocker in a 5x5 area! The explosion will remove 1 layer of candies and blocker.
- Cupcake (Blocker): Places a Cupcake over the selected tile. It can only replace candy and Special Candy.
- Fishing Net (Blocker): Places a Fishing Net on top of a candy or Special Candy. Fish will target this net until it's removed.
- Wiggling (Blocker): Places a 1-layer Wiggling on top of a candy or Special Candy. This can only be removed with Special Candies.
You will cost 1 ticket for each match. Then, the game will find opponent LIVE. if there is none, you can retry, or you will still be lost your ticket if you quit. Each ticket lasts 1 hour to get new one.
And last, you and your opponent will play against each other, with a exclusive-designed level by Jelly team of King. Both will have 14 moves, with 2 ones each turn. The goal is very simple "Spread more Jelly than the opponent". The player can use power-ups chosen before to boost gameplay. During the match, you can use the emoji comment to distract the opponent. But be careful, each turn limits your time. You have only 30 seconds to preform a move before you lost your turn.
If you win the match, you will get coins. But if the opponent wins, you will still get coin, but very few, only 1. And if you win streak, you can be rewarded more boosters and more tickets. So always use your existing Candy Crush Jelly skills to win the head-to-head battle.
The leaderboard always changes after every match, so player and win games one-to-one to get closer to the top. There are 15 rewards, and more boosters you will get.
After the events ends. the player who hold the highest positions on the board will win some Royal Rewards!
Trivia
- This event is still in beta test. However, everyone can sign in to participate in this event by accessing to King Community and give your ID to the team.
- This event can't play in landscape mode.
- This event only works with an Internet connection.
