Puffler levels are one of the six level types in Candy Crush Jelly Saga, along with jelly levels, jelly boss levels, puffler boss levels, monkling levels and monkling boss levels. Puffler levels are the second level type introduced in the game. They first appear in episode 1, Cotton Candy Clouds, with the first level being level 6.

Puffler levels are the second most common and third level type in the game, making up 7.85% of all levels, with 462 total appearances out of the 5885 levels.

See the full List of Puffler levels here.

To win puffler levels, the player has to collect all of the pufflers on the board, which is done by clearing the frosting without moving the puffler. If it moves, you will need to clear the frosting where the puffler is hiding.

Starting from level 1001, the player will catch pufflers in multiple sections. In these levels, the level will only move on to the next section when all pufflers are caught, all pufflers hide in the other sections or there is no more frosting to continue catching pufflers.

When all pufflers are caught, Sugar Crush is activated - fish, striped and wrapped candies are made for every move remaining, giving 3,000 points for each. Then each of them activates themselves.

A player also has to reach a certain score requirement (for one star). This is usually trivial, because if you complete the main level objective, you always have enough points for at least one star.

  • This level type has a similar mechanism as the frosting level type in Candy Crush Soda Saga.
  • Candy fish always finds pufflers which are hiding under the frosting. However, if pufflers hide again, candy fish hits random frosting until pufflers are revealed.
  • It is the only level type in which the sign that says "Out of moves" has an exclamation mark missing.
