Event is one of the features in Candy Crush Jelly Saga. Besides levels, it provides side quests, rewards to the player besides completing new levels to reach the end of the map. They are one of the three main views outside of level gameplay, along with Map and My profile.
An event may occur when the player joins the game on a specific period. Multiple event can be active at a time, other events are ongoing without time limit. The completion of events usually give the player boosters, lives, and even gold bars.
Most events occur on mobile version. A few events only occur on web version. Some events only occur on a special occasion. Also one can only be participated in events after they reach a required level target.

Strategy
Events are currently the main means of obtaining boosters and gold bars to complete difficult levels. Some events will provide booster passes upon meeting conditions while others will provide gold, usually a meager amount.
Always keep an eye on the time limit in any active events. If the player can't complete the requirements in time, they may lose a large number of rewards.
Note that boosters obtained through events are clientside on mobile apps and serverside on web, and the player might only receive the event on mobile and not on the web. Reinstalling the mobile version will result in the loss of your boosters.

Trivia
- Most events can still work without requiring an Internet connection.
- From October 17, 2018 to December 17, 2018, and from June 2 2019 until July 25 2020, the player can play the levels in Save Misty, Birthday Bash and Bananadrama without losing a life.
- All of these three events were discontinued on April 27 2022.
- Pool Party and Royal Ball are the event that are only available for celebrating special level milestone, while Rainbow Party is only available in a special day.
- On January 18 2023, Tasty Events was removed. Due to that removal, the game renamed that feature as "Events". Besides, the layout was also redesigned, and music was reused from Mastery Rank.
- Since the change of this feature, each event suddenly had icon from the event Fishing with friends under its icon. This issue was fixed on June 13 2023.
- Since the release of the event Daily Win, after the player completed it, its icon suddenly replaced the icon of the event Star Chase. When restarting the app, the issue automatically went back to normal.
